Location
Situated in the Tianzhu Development Zone of Beijing, and just a short distance to the west of the Beijing Capital International Airport , Beijing Limai School is a private school of great reputation. Limai's beautiful tree-lined garden-like campus covers an area of 22 hectares (54 acres), 9 hectares of which feature the campus' many buildings and 6 hectares of which feature trees, gardens and flower nurseries. There are also six sports fields including a 400m rubber racetrack, an international standard soccer field, night-lit basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and a junior soccer field. Moreover, Limai possesses a Science Center, a library complete with electric reading rooms, an Arts Center and a modern gym with an indoor swimming pool.
Courses
Substantial content. Visual teaching methods. Combine language courses with thematic activities.
- Students of different language levels will be assigned to either a Basic Class or Senior Class (maximum 10 students per class).
- Courses for the Basic Class involve everyday Chinese vocabulary and pronunciations, the basic rules of writing and even some Chinese ancient poetry among many other things.
Those for the Senior Class emphasize the enhancement of the students' ability to listen to, to speak and to read Chinese fluently and accurately.

No courses on Saturdays nor Sundays but, for a small extra fee, there are optional weekend trips available. We'll go to places like the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace -- let's experience the culture of Beijing together on our days off. We will also have a chance to tour some of Beijing 's hutongs (traditional-style lanes & alleys), to taste Beijing roast duck, to make Chinese dumplings, and to watch an acrobatics show as well as a Beijing opera. Outside of Beijing but in the nearby vicinity lie Tianjin City ( Beijing 's port city) and Chengde Mountain Resort ¡ let's explore Beijing and its vicinity together!!!
Accommodation
On campus boarding is available:
- The school's Dining Hall provides and delicious meals three times a day, seven days a week.
- On-campus student residences are all gender segregated; girls residences are completely separate from boys residences. Also, every floor of the residences has at least two proctors (or wardens) who are also teachers at the school. The dormitories are always supervised when students are scheduled to be there.
- The dormitories, each of which is shared by three students, are air-conditioned and each has an ensuite washroom.
- Campus safety is paramount; guards are on duty day and night.
- If you chose weekend Accommodation only without Extra Trip , campus gym and facilities are still available.
Due to the Olympic Games being held in Beijing during the same period, the arrangements for campus dormitories is much more limited and in demand than it normally would be hence there are different dormitory fee for different times during the summer:
